Urban photography and street portraits

Urban, street photography, and street portraits are a major inspiration for my portraiture work. In both my street and urban photography, I approach the same workflow as I do in my portrait sessions. When photographing buildings, for example, I seek out interesting angles and the character of the structure—the same way I approach my portraits. Furthermore, I engage in street portraiture by randomly asking people on the street if I can take their photograph. This is where my interest in portraiture truly began.
