Street

I’ve been doing street photography from the early 20 ties—without even realizing it was a genre. Street photography can mean different things to different people.

For me, it’s simple: if I’m out on the street and I take a photo, it’s street photography. Whether it’s a candid shot of someone scratching their nose, a street portrait, an abstract image of a building, or even a crushed beer can in the gutter—it all counts as street to me.
